London College of Music Top Wind/Rainer Schuelein Flute Prize

Just to up date you all on this years flute prize;

This years adjudicator was Susan Milan. Sue teaches at the Royal College and has had many years experience as a professional player, being the first female player in the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra along with pursuing a solo career for which she has gained much aclaim. She is currently freelancing and teaching both in her home in Surrey and at the Royal College.

All seven competitors played well and Sue had alot of very constructive comments for them all. She will be back at the college later in the year to give a masterclass to those of the students that want to expand on the comments she made.
