Roller keys   These are most often found on the foot joint keys.  They are small rolling ‘bars’ built in to the keys that allow the player to slide their little finger quickly between two neighbouring keys.  A D# roller is most common but a C# roller can be seen too.  The C key on most flutes is a roller key anyway.
