Town Talk Silver Polish Cloths
Large or small cloths impregnated with silver polish. These are the only cleaning material you should use for the surface of your flute. Polishes and liquids are much too abrasive and can cause damage to pads and mechanism.
The Original H.W. Padsavers![]()
These are not for drying your flute but should be placed in the flute, after cleaning, to absorb any extra moisture. They are left inside until the next time you play (don't forget to take them out again!). An excellent cure for recurrent problems with sticky pads.

There is also a position on the dial which produces a tuning note A at 440Hz. The beat sound is a pleasant 'click' reminiscent of the old clockwork metronomes but this can be turned off and a simple flashing LED can be used to indicate the beat or an earphone socket is provided (earphone not supplied). It is powered by a 9 volt battery.
